Title VI Policy

The Merced County Department of Public Works is committed to a policy of nondiscrimination in the conduct of its business, including its Title VI responsibilities, and to the delivery of equitable and accessible transportation. Any person who believes that he or she has been subjected to discrimination under Title VI on the basis of race, color, or national origin may file a Title VI complaint with Merced County DPW within 180 days from the date of the alleged discrimination.

Filing a Title VI Complaint with DPW

If you have a Title VI complaint, the following Title VI Complaint Form may be obtained and completed electronically by downloading a Title VI Complaint Form (PDF).

Complaint forms may be submitted via email to Title6Coordinator@countyofmerced.com.

Complaint forms may also be filed with Merced County Department of Public Works in writing and sent to the following address:

Policy Statement

It is the policy of the Merced County Department of Public Works that no person shall be denied the benefits of or be subjected to discrimination in any Merced County program, service, or activity on the grounds of race, color, national origin, age, and disability. Merced County also requires its contractors and grantees to comply with this policy.
