The applicant must present valid photo identification to the Live Scan Operator. Expired identification cards will not be accepted. The applicant must bring a completed live scan form with them when they arrive for the scan. The agency or business that is requesting the background check is responsible for ensuring the form is completed and has accurate information. The Sheriff’s Office charges a $20 rolling fee for each live scan service. Additional fees determined by DOJ may apply to each live scan and will be determined at the time of service.
