The Wellness Centers are an integral part of Merced County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS) as it infuses our entire system with the philosophy and principles of recovery for all BHRS consumers.  The Wellness Centers are strategically located in different parts of our system of care in order to maximize the service to all consumers, and they are dynamic, multicultural environments that reflect and support the mission and vision of BHRS.

The Wellness Centers are designed to provide the needed services to our consumers and to empower them to have a voice in programs by providing input and guidance in the content of the programs.  The programs are designed to assist consumers to not only maintain their current level of functioning, but support them in achieving the best recovery possible and attain their desired level of self-sufficiency and functioning.
